NOTD! Rivaj Uk nail polish.

What do I have on my  nails today?? Its Rivaj UK nail polish. I haven't tried anything before from this brand except this.

I have always wanted a royal blue shade and as soon as I saw it I had to get it!! Sadly they do not have specific names for each shade..they have numbers. I have number 20. Its metallic finish. the formula was OK..not so great. Lasting power was 3 days max with a good top cot maybe you can extend its life.
i got mine from Chase for rs, 70. cheap...right? =P

Rivaj UK has a good range of colors. They have extremely pretty shades but the quality isnt soo impressive.

P.S. Sorry I was in a hurry to get the pics clicked... didn't clean up the mess up *embarrassed* =(

Recent Product Empties!

Hey! A few days later i saw a post at Nayabloves' blog. It was all about recent products she has used and how were they! I thought of posting one at my blog too as I have had a few products I finished and I never got a chance to review them. So this is a good opportunity. And yes all the products in this post are my Faves! I had been loving them a lot and definitely a repurchase. (thanks Nayab for the idea! =P)

1) Nivea Visage Sparkling White Foam
2) Adidas Pure Lightness Deo
3) Sweet Touch top Coat
4) Rimmel Stay Matte Powder
5) Dove Go Fresh Cucumber & Green tea Body wash

1) Nivea Visage Sparkling White Foam

I love Nivea. They have a good range of skin care products which are worth trying. This one is a fave of mine. Trust me this is the fourth tube I have finished. I purchase this again and again. Its a great face wash which never dries my skin (even in winters). Leaves skin soft and supple with an instant glow! You will feel deep cleansing after use and removes dirt and oil effectively. I'm definitely going to buy it the fifth time!

2)Adidas Pure Lightness Body Spray

Adidas Pure Lightness Body Spray is the smell I had wearing daily lately. Its soft and cucumber-ish. Very refreshing. I had used it up all and has bought another too! =) I have both the deodorant and cologne.

3) Sweet Touch Top Coat.

Sweet Touch is one of my most liked brand for nail polishes. Most of my Notds feature St polishes as they are super duper cheap and has good quality, has great lasting power and comes in a great range of colors!
St top coat is an awesome product for me because it dries instantly! Say within 3 secs! I have other top coats too but this one is the best. It helps me prevent yellow nails because although its a top coat I like using it as a base coat. It extends the life of my nail paint if worn on top! Love it! Has ended 2 bottles! Got it for Rs 80 from Chase.

4) Rimmel London Stay Matte Powder

My HG product! I cant imagine my day without this AH-MAZING face powder. I have used L'Oreal, Mac and Maybelline powders before but IDK why I always go back to this one. Gives the perfect matte finish, controls shine and never looks cakey. And most importantly its affordable also. I use the shade Transparent. And definitely will be buying this all my life ;-)

5) Dove Go Fresh Cucumber & Green Tea Body Wash

I got this only for the smell alone! =P It smells great. I had been using it everyday like crazy. it lathers well and the smell instantly revitalizes your senses and you feel refreshed! I will definitely get another bottle in next summers. And the great thing about this is it doesn't leave a greasy feeling behind as compared to the Cream Oil line. Those body washes are good but your body feels very oil after you use it!

Alright, so that's all for now...there are a few more items which are about to end so hopefully ill post the version 2 as well =) it was a first try!
Hope you enjoyed reading.
Have you used any of these items?

Unusually Coffee!

Hey there! This post is all about COFFEE!! Are you a coffee person?? I love coffee a lot! Besides drinking it there are a few amazing tips and remedies of coffee which are extremely beneficial, easy to prepare and inexpensive!! I read an article about coffee in a mag recently so decided to share it with you guys on my blog!

1. REDUCE CELLULITE:

Did you know caffeine enhances fat metabolism, reducing the appearance of fatty pockets under the skin?

Make your own coffee cellulite treatment at home. All you need to do is mix some warm used coffee beans with coconut oil and  rub the mixture onto your skin in circular motions for a few minutes before rinsing. Do it regularly and get rid of fatty skin =)

2. GET SHINY HAIR:

Coffee is often recommended as simple, natural treatment to make hair extra glossy!

Brew up an extra strong pot, let it cool and apply it to your dry, clean hair. Leave it for at least 20 minutes, then rinse. Keep it up once a week or so for best results and simply flaunt away the shine! ;-)

3. NATURAL DYE:

The pigments in coffee make it a great natural dye. Using coffee as a hair treatment, as previously mentioned, may temporarily lend a rich, dark tint to your hair.

4. EXFOLIATE SKIN:

The same properties that reportedly enable coffee to reduce the appearance of cellulite can smooth and tighten your skin and the texture of ground coffee will buff away dead skin cells too.

Make your own coffee-based scrub by combining a tbsp of coffee grounds with half a tbsp of olive oil and optionally a drop of your favorite essential oil. So, besides drinking use it as a scrub and enjoy your baby soft skin!
Coffee grounds. Isn't the pic cute? =)

Hurry Before it ends!

NOTD! Sweet Touch in Mauve.

Here's a quick NOTD of my most favourite nail polish brand Sweet Touch,
Its a mauve shade-light baby pinkish with slight purplish touch(did I sound funny?? =P). Its matte. Its pretty to wear in summers. =)
Check it out:

Isn't it pretty??

Nyx Soft Matte Lip Cream.

Heya! Today I will be reviewing my very first Nyx item ever!! I had never bought any Nyx product before as it isnt easily available here. But thanks to Beauty Unleashed!! =)

I had been wanting to review this from so long but dont know what held me back=S

Anyways so here's what the company claims:

Neither lipstick nor lip gloss—this is matte lip cream. A new kind of pout paint that goes on silky smooth and sets to a matte finish. Soft Matte Lip Cream is surprisingly durable and, unlike some matte lipstick formulas, also moisturizing.

Shade:
The shade I own is San Paulo. Its a pretty rosy pink.

I simply love this creamy lip colors. First I was a little skeptical about getting this product and shade, But Im glad I gave it a try. It feels like a dream to apply. =)

The Packaging:
The packaging is simple and decent amount of product is there. The applicator as well is an ordinary doe foot sponge.

The Formula:
Its a matte finish as the name says. It reminds me of mousse make up! But it is some what more easy to glide. Applies soft but dries to a soft delicate matte finish.

Lasting Power:
Pretty good. It stayed on me for about 5-6 hours with a slight fading after about 3 hours of eating and having tea.

What I didn't like:
As I said I simply love it overall but the only turn off point of this product is the drying effect on lips. On me, they tend to fit in the fine lines of my lips which looks ugly sometimes! But I overcame this problem by applying a generous amount of lip balms underneath!

That's how San Paulo looks on me=)
P.S. Excuse my horrible looking lips.

Price:  I don't remember exactly but it was something around Rs. 800!!!

Final Thoughts:
In a nutshell I would say its a pretty awesome product, feels soft and the shade is also quite wearable both in day and night.

DIY: Smooth Honey Almond Mask.

Hey. Here's a quick and easy recipe of smoothing out your skin. Its a great mask for glowing skin and works good for fine lines.

You will need:

1 tbsp honey

Honey's natural antioxidant properties help to protect the skin from the damage of the sun's rays, supports the skin's ability to rejuvenate and refresh depleted skin, leaving it feeling silky soft and supple.

1 egg yolk:

It has vitamin A that has Retin A which is used to help skin  shedding, regulate the amount of skin produced, stops pores from clogging.

Half tsp of almond oil:

Almond oil is very healthy for our skin as it moisturizes it and improves our complexion keeping skin soft and wrinkle free.

1 tbsp of yogurt:

Yogurt is an effective cleanser. The creamy texture cools, calms and refreshes tired skin and helps in getting rid of acne and dead cells.

What to do???
Simply mix all the ingredients until well blended. Apply on you face and neck and leave for at least 20 mins. Rinse with plain water. And rock out your glowy baby soft skin =)

REVIEW -- Christine Eye Pencils

" Eye liner" is the first cosmetic item that I used ever since I started wearing make up. It is the product that I use every single day and thus I have used a lot of different eye liners from various brands-both Pakistani and Foreign brands.
In the beginning I was only confident enough to rock out black kohl pencils but gradually I invested my money into colored pencils as well.
Today I am going to talk about Christine eye pencils.

These are wooden pencils and I own four shades. These are available in 32 shades in the market with matte and shimmer finishes.

And here are the swatches:

1. Green(i exactly don't remember what this particular shade is called as the name has been faded)
2. Copper
3. Deep Purple
4. Electric Blue

When I first tried them I was really impressed by the smooth texture and pigmentation. (that's only one single swipe in the pic above). Considering their cheap price they are extremely good quality. The color pay off is very great and they glide on effortlessly.

They does not even smudge or melt away. But if you have oily eye lids they may tend to smudge a bit. However after about 4-5 hours the color fades lightly but that's OK with me.

I love these pencils for their brilliant color, quality and price! These are available everywhere with price ranging from Rs. 50-60!!  See? That's inexpensive.
These are great to have if you like funky color eye liners and they wont even break down your bank account! =)
My favorite ones are green, electric blue and deep purple!!! I don't like the copper one as it doesn't actually show up much on my eyes.

Hope you like it!

February Favorites!

Hey this is my first post of the month March and its about the favorite products of previous month.
My monthly favorites for this month are actually those quite similar as Jan favs as I have very limited favorite products and I reach them all the time without hesitation.

So first lets see my face products:

For cleaning/exfoliating my skin I use Nivea Visage face wash(read review) and St.Ives Olive scrub.
I sometimes also mix both of these together and then massage all over face and neck. It makes a great combo.

Secondly I use L'Oreal Hydra Fresh cream(I came to know about this product @ Sara Hassan's blog and tried it:})

Its very hydrating and non greasy. I love using it before applying my face powder.

Next is the face powder I had been loving and using from quite a long time.
Rimmel Stay Matte Face powder
This image has been taken from Google.
Mine doesn't deserve to be shown here as its nearly a loose powder state now=P
Thanks to the loose lid and my reckless handling.

Now lets move onto my eye products. Eyeshadows are not in my normal routine makeup. But mascara and eye liner is a must have for me.
Both products are from Rimmel and also from my Jan favorites list.

Rimmel Extra WOW lash mascara and Rimmel Exaggerate eye defining pencil. I LOVE THEM BOTH and will definitely re purchase them.

Another product is AGAIN from Rimmel =P I love RIMMEL!! I find them to be more affordable as compared to other brands.
Seems Rimmel is paying me for promoting their stuff =P well I bought them all with my Parents' money =P and sometimes mine too.
Anyways its the Match Perfection concealer. I like to use it to hide imperfections sometimes. But not for everyday use(at least for me)

Next is a lipstick from Maybelline. Its very old but I love the shade and the formula.Perfect to use in winters as its very moisturizing and has more of a balm-ish texture.
The shade is called Raisin and sadly Maybelline has discontinued this line of lippies.

And here is the swatch:

Above mentioned products =P

Lastly my most favorite perfume and body spray by ADIDAS. Pure Lightness for women.

Thats all. I hope you like it. Thank you for reading.

What is your all time favorite product?
